Gabriela Equiz began training as a dancer when she was 4 years old. She studied Ballet and flamenco in the best schools in Mexico City, Tijuana and Los Angeles. As an adult, she made a career in Electronic Systems Engineering in the city of Tijuana and later she enrolled into a masters program in Robotics. While she lived in LA, she attended an audition that led to a recording contract to sing in an international quintet “i5”. She went to tour to open for artists such as Britney Spears and ‘N Sync, among others. At the same time, also in Los Angeles, Gaby was introduced to the world of Latin dance and it was then that she fell in love!
With creative and powerful choreographies and an ability to draw technique from a broad range of dance styles, Gaby has created teams that are dominating international competitions. Not only is she taking Latin dance to the next level, but she is constantly pushing and expanding the envelope of what Latin dance is! With her remarkable precision and complex formations, infused with their own innovative moves, styling, and technique Gaby is drastically impacting the Latin dance industry.

Antonio Vazquez earned a Degree in Business Administration at the Technological Institute of Tijuana. As founding member and dancer of Alma Latina's professional team, he began his performance in dance in 2005, focusing on Latin rhythms; such as salsa and bachata. With the intention of improving his knowledge, he decided to continue his training with great exponents of dance in different disciplines: ballet, jazz, contemporary and aerial dance. He began his professional career at a young age, obtaining world championships in the most important events of salsa and bachata, and national recognition in jazz and contemporary. He continues his career as a dancer traveling around the world imparting his knowledge and exposing his work.
